ROCKFORD – A new technology startup is launching in Rockford this spring, and it’s looking to hire in the downtown area.
Floracracy is the first company in the multi-billion-dollar U.S. flower industry to offer customized floral arrangements online. It uses sophisticated, patent-pending software to create a curated design experience that’s complete with a real-time visual of the design being created.
The company’s investors include John Higginson, the former CTO of the publicly traded flower giant FTD. Rockford lawyer Jim Keeling also serves on its board.
