Ideal indoor houseplants are of ‘heavy mettle’ — durable enough to withstand low light and irregular watering. The plants that fit this category seem to handle abuse fairly well, and can adapt to a variety of conditions. One characteristic that seems to be consistent is that these plants are slow or slower growers then other indoor tropicals.

Cindy Hanauer comes from a 4-generation heritage in the floral industry with ancestors opening their first florist shop and greenhouse in 1875.
She has held leadership positions in every aspect of the floral business: Field Training, Product Development, Visual Merchandising, Category Planning, Financial Strategy, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Transportation and eCommerce.
In June 2013, Cindy started her own business to dedicate her remaining years in the education, development and training of those who will continue to build the floral business for many years to come. She is also available to work in a freelance capacity to assist retailers and suppliers who wish to achieve those same goals.
